Although both functions serve a similar purpose, they have vast differences, please check below:
Account Closure
When your account is closed due to Self-exclusion by EPIS or Take-a-break options, your access to our services will be blocked for the chosen time frame.
Account Deletion
You can request your account deletion via My Account → Privacy Settings → Account Deletion. Your account will be deleted, and you won't be able to log in again or create a new account. Your data will be erased according to our retention scheme. If you do not have access to your account, you can send an email to dpo-office-be@betano.com from your Betano Registered email, mentioning your username and using "Data Deletion" as the subject line.
