About RCS Delivery
RCS is a modern messaging protocol that works over the internet. For this to work, you must have RCS enabled and be connected to the internet.
How to Enable RCS
- On Android: Open the Messages app, tap your profile picture, go to Messages settings, and tap RCS chats. From there, turn it on.
- On iPhone (iOS 18 or later): Go to Settings > Messages and look for RCS Messaging under the Text Messaging section. Toggle it on.
Note: RCS availability on iPhone depends on your mobile carrier. The feature will only appear and work if your carrier supports it.
Basic SMS Troubleshooting
If the phone number in your account is correct, you can opt for "Voice Call" to receive the OTP code. If you prefer to receive it by SMS, you can check these common reasons for a delayed or missing SMS code.
- Check Your Mobile Number: Verify that the mobile number you provided during registration is correct.
- Wait a Few Minutes: Sometimes, message delivery may be delayed due to network congestion. Please wait and check again.
- Check for Network Issues: Make sure you have a strong mobile signal. Try restarting your phone and checking again.
- Look in Your Spam or Blocked Messages: Some mobile carriers or phone settings may filter out automated messages. Check if the message was blocked or marked as spam.
How to check spam messages on Android and iOS:
- Android:
Open the Google messages app (the app where SMS messages are received).
Tap the menu icon, which is your profile picture or your name initials in the top right corner.
Select “Spam & blocked”: from the menu that appeared after completing the last step.
Review the messages and find the message with the code that was just sent.
Tap the message: in the “Spam & blocked” folder.
Select “Not Spam”: from the prompt at the top of the message to restore it to your regular inbox.
- iOS:
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
Scroll down and tap on Messages.
Scroll to the “Message Filtering” section and turn on the toggle for “Filter Unknown Senders”.
Check the “Unknown Senders” folder.
Open the Messages app.
At the top left of the conversation list, tap on “Filters”.
Select “Unknown Senders” to view messages from numbers not in your contacts
Search for the latest message with the verification code.
- You have the option to either save the sender as a contact or mark it as “Known”. This will prevent messages being marked as “Unknown Sender”.
Still Having Trouble?
- Check your internet connection: Make sure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi or has mobile data turned on, as RCS requires an internet connection to work.
